Plus the cop's case was reinstated BEFORE the killing.
Also why would a guy in his posistion that wanted to premeditate a murder do it himself in the fashion you suggest.
In South Africa you'd just pay someone $100 and have her taken out in her car at a "botched" car jacking or at the gym car park.
