you guys are behind on this story... the charges against the chief investigator, botha, were already reinstated on feb 4th! mentioned eg here [ link to www.iol.co.za] it was pistorius' spin doctors who made them become a topic today. pistorius definitely enjoys "special support" but the case also shows how sloppy the SA police work. oh and the prosecution acknowledged that the cricket bat was only used to crack the locked bathroom door open. i followed the bail trial in detail and i think he's guilty as fuck, simply snapped during a fight and killed her. his story doesn't make sense. but his legal team and spin doctors might well succeed in getting him out on bail, and then getting him a much lesser sentence with a culpable homicide conviction instead of premeditated murder. if he gets denied bail tomorrow he's fxxxed - the other inmates will be happily expecting him :) Sorry to burst your bubble, but that's an obvious lie. If the charges against Botha had been reinstated 10 days before Pistorius killed Reeva Steenkamp, he would have been SUSPENDED without pay, not leading a homicide investigation, neither testifying in court. This is basics DIA procedure. If you somehow believe in this obvious fabricated story, you're probably waiting the tooth fairy put some money under you pillow too. lol my friend, you obviously have no clue how things work in the south african police service! he would be suspended anywhere else in the world, but not in SA! it's on record that his charges were reinstated on feb 4th, do some googling
