I went to the store on "Support Hobby Lobby Day" and made a purchase. I aksed them about their sales that day and they reported a slightly larger volume that day then previous days.

The word about this support day was not as viral as it was for Chick Fil-A.

They are an awesome store with discounts of usually 40% off on many items rotating each week.

They have a website for online purchases, too. They need your support.

I`ve been in their stores several times and watched the sales people making origional prices up to then be able to mark them down with 1/2 price signs above them. I`ve asked the sales people about this and they said Hobby Lobby changes prices all the time like this. I spoke to a mananger and was told this was to reflect a price increase. Well they bought the items at the lower price so why not give the customers a good deal?!

Obama care is hurting a lot of businesses! My son, who is in college, works part time at Dunham's Sports. They work with him that during school he gets around 25 to 28 hours a week. During summer and Christmas holidays when he is not in school he will get 30 to 40 hours a week. They had a meting in his store last week to explain the new rules on hours. Since they are listed part time, they cannot get over 28 hours per week from now on. If they go over 28 for just 1 week during the year they have to be considered full time and be offered insurance and they can't deny coverage, (goes against obamacare rules). This really hurts him cause summer hours helps pay for his books during school.

Hobby lobby near me which borders the city of Chicago starts off their employees at 15 dollars an hour, thats not bad is it.

and as for women, Hobby Lobby should not be responsible for paying for those pills, its bad enough they're out there in the first place but they shouldn't have that immorality on their shoulders. If you look online, you will see they often ADVERTISE payment at one level, and GIVE JOBS at another and say "that pay is only for FULL TIME WORKERS" without actually hiring full time workers. That's right. They con people into thinking they will get a full time time and kick them down to part-time help WITH NO benefits. This has gone on for years and years, long before Obama. They are just trying to kick their own RESPONSIBILITY aside and use Obama as a scapegoat. They are NOT ethical in their hiring and employment practices.
