Can Someone Tell Me the "Good" About GMO's

GMO products feed the world. If it were not for those strains the vast majority of the population of earth would already be dead due to lack of food.

You can get all high and mighty and say that it's bad for you, they control the food blahblahblah, but the fact is the companies that make the seeds that grow the food are in a business, not a charity. Businesses exist to make money. They make theirs by feeding the world. They would be incredibly stupid if they didn't code in genetic sterility, they'd lose money that way.

I like playing devil's advocate...but in the case of GMO's I can not come up with anything good.

they don't need pesticides because they've programmed the plants to produce pesticides internally, so now we eat the pesticides. At least we could wash them off before.
