Fascism is a uniquely Catholic phenomenon. It cannot happen outside of Catholic countries.

This explains why Catholic countries such as Italy, Spain, Vichy France and German Bavaria were fascist, but non-Catholic countries such as England, the United States, Russia, Australia and Canada were not fascist.

Fascism has a distinctly religious background rooted in the Latin-Germanic culture of the European Catholics. Protestants and Americans are totally immunized from this type of problem because their culture is so very different from the Catholics.

stupid

Definition of fascism from [link to www.merriam-webster.com]

1

often capitalized: a political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition

2

: a tendency toward or actual exercise of strong autocratic or dictatorial control <early instances of army fascism and brutality — J. W. Aldridge>
"God forbid we should ever be 20 years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, & always, well informed... If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty... Let them take arms... What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. " - Thomas Jefferson in 1787
