I recently discovered (was led to) the medicine wheel by Sun Bear. My life NOW makes sense. I was never "lost" to begin with...

Now I learn who I am really. Day by day.

Did Native Americans have access to the Bible?
No.

They lived a spiritual life connected to the earth & the creator.

In Canada we call them "First Nations"

but unfortunately european christians assimilated them, indoctrinated them, gave them alcohol, and literally killed them off until they were weakened & hungry, stole their lands.

and have oppressed them since that day.

It's a human tragedy that is overshadowed by these 6 Million "supposed" wandering Jews endured. Actually many genocidal holocausts are overlooked because of this.

The first nations people have my deepest utmost respect & my humblest apologies for what generations of our ancestors did to their peoples & culture.

when the SHTF I intend to stand with them.

Re: Did Native Americans have access to the Bible?
you gotta look at it like this

the second you NAME something, you have already been deceived in some sort. You can't say Jesus is real anymore than you can say Satan is. Technically there is more info that says that Satan is real and Jesus is a composite myth.

You can't even begin to understand the mass hypnosis tool of deception that holy books and organized religions are in the current form

You gotta go back to INDIA to even get a somewhat honest depiction...

The Mormons teach that the very early "Indians" knew about Christ. Well before the whites came to the Americas. In fact they believe Christ came to the Americas. They also teach that they "dwindled in belief". You know, just like us today.

And if not.. Why not? We're they not important enough to be taught the ways of Jesus? I mean, if we're all God's children..wouldn't everyone have known about Him?
And would Christians of early American days have condemned them to Hell because they did not accept Christ as their savior, even though they knew nothing of him?

Please forgive my ignorance.. I'm just looking for answers

I m confused. How could they have access to the Bible before the christian missionaries reach them? Then, happened the same as in Europe after Christianity became the formal religion of the Empire.
Christianity was imposed on the people and those who rejected it had a bad end.

I hate to say this but being raised Baptist especially Southern Baptist is kind of like only eating at McDonalds all your life. There are much better places to eat, but only if you want too venture out.

I was raised SB, I am also American Indian. I Never believed what was on the menu at church.

If you want to understand what the Indians knew, I will give you a couple of books. Non Indian related but very helpful for those who are wanting to understand the truth.

Journey of Souls by Michael Newton

Silver Birch Speaks amazon.com

This should put you on a good footing if you want to explore. Hopefully this will change your life.

Youtube 50 Spiritual Universal laws, i think its a 48 minute video but this describes the laws the Tribes governed their tribes, and the base of tribal laws.

also watch those rattlesnakes at your church in WV. lol

Op would just need a logical time line and flow chart. Then they can make up their own mind

human--- old

Christianity---- young in relation to the age of human

religion---- tool of control that is often political and a merging of the dominant cultures of the region

holy books---- written by the winners of the wars

God------------- not actually nameable

once you start to think like that about this stuff you can better navigate through the wilderness

My main reason for asking, as nothing more than a white girl from WV raised by baptists, is it all seems so fake the older I get.. And I genuinely want to hear someone tell me why, if Jesus is the only way, did Native Americans not know about him... Does that make sense?
 Quoting: MrsCrickets

No, it doesn't.

a 'way' as in 'an example' to follow?

Yes.

Certainly not the only way.

There are multiple paths to ultimately the same destination.

You christians just love to fucking flatter yourselves.

They neither wanted nor needed your plagiarized version of cosmologies and ancient knowledge. THAT'S why the christians mutilated and murdered them by droves. Christianity was used to justify the actions of colonizing an inhabited land.

Now you want to say your trashy book of collected rhetoric pre-dated the historic and spiritual knowledge of the people you tried to destroy.

Classic narcissist shit right there.

if most Christians took the time to read the bible with a dictionary and concordance and cared to look into the root words of the names of their god, Lord God and all of the other names of God, they would ask US for help LOL

Good question. The Indians were part of the people described in Romans 1, beginning verse 18. They know God by instinct..God has put this knowledge in their hearts.
No one dies without a chance to know God....even the heathen who have never heard, as those described here in Romans. The righteousness of Christ is set down and known by instinct; it is set in their hearts. Some of the native Indians saw God in nature and knew Him in their consciousness, for God set Himself in the conscience of all peoples. Some of them deliberately chose to believe lies made idols to worship; others of them recognized the righteousness of God. Men knew God from the beginning. There is no excuse for not knowing him (verse 20). There is enough knowledg of God in conscience and in nature to induce a spirit of awe for God.... He judges people according to the light they receive (or reject)

soooo
what if the world finds out that
the creation of America by colonists
was actually a slave trading conquest
to re-slave the Hebrew lost tribes
back into slavery ???

what would you do if thousands of
your slaves ran away ???

Would you not hunt them down to
get them back ???

Also, interesting is that George
Washington owned over 200 slaves
when he penned those words:

All men are created equal.

Seminole Indians of Florida are
descendents of the Lost Tribe
of Reuben according to some
sources.

If so, they knew Hebrew and may
have already been exposed to the
Torah before coming to the Americas.

No, they were then like millions of others around the globe functioning as humans do without the shackles of christian oppression. Sadly, it didn't last. Watch the movie "Black Robe". It touches on some of the things that likely transpired during the missionaries zeal to "convert the heathens". Watch the movie with open eyes and an objective mind. I believe the final message was, "keep your jesus".
