Jesus sent His disciples to seek that which was lost...
God's sheep, Israel [in the Bible, "sheep" is a symbol
for Israel] the vast majority of whom were scattered into
Europe and Asia since the 8th century BC... since the
Assyrian and Babylonian captivities. And Jesus' disciples
did exactly that. St Andrew went East, to the Rus and Slavs
and first converted those Israelites to Christianity.
