Re: Did Native Americans have access to the Bible?
And if not.. Why not? We're they not important enough to be taught the ways of Jesus? I mean, if we're all God's children..wouldn't everyone have known about Him?
And would Christians of early American days have condemned them to Hell because they did not accept Christ as their savior, even though they knew nothing of him?

Please forgive my ignorance.. I'm just looking for answers

cheers

I doubt it was ever translated to any of the native American languages, nor did most of the natives know English until well after the colonists were done slaughtering them. Which is all besides the fact, because the native Americans would have never given up their traditions that existed long before the bible was even written. Why should they? The teachings of the bible only dull you to the sense of being spiritual and replace it with religious brain washing.

Dont worry about them , they will be taken care of (in a good way).

LK 12: 47And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.

48But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.

In addition, Romans ch 1-3 clealry state all people are without excuse in recognizing God's creation.

Pretty easy to understand. Romans 1 states we are without excuse. Nature leads us to believe in God. Our ancestors gave up the truth. If you don't teach your children they will seek the truth. They may not find Jesus. Many false Gods and many false religions are out there for them to find.

I see you're still trolling with the John Lear anti-jesus influence. You still believe the first few chapters of Genesis are inaccurate or contradictory somehow, dont you? You admitted John might be brainwashed himself for not beleiving in Jesus. Now you are contradicting yourself about the brainwashing. Good luck to you.

jesus is not a person. The bible tells you as much. jesus christ is a concept of many different things that were placed on the person... THAT is what the issue is IMO. If people agree that Jesus was a title then why not call the person by their name?

We are all brainwashed because nobody speaks a language old enough. This is why you gotta THINK and use logic and DIG into stuff. Using composite materials and saying that they are true is as stupid and logical as man saying that it can stand alone and not worry about all the single cell organisms that work together to even let you have the cell structure to even THINK that

I'm not delusional or brainwashed in that sense. You should stop trying so hard to prove a point... you are not very good at it

no matter how far-fetched this might sound, it wouldn't surprise me if it turned out to be true.
 Quoting: chauchat

I look at it like this. Earth is a baby star factory and is unique in the sense that it DEVELOPS stars besides just spitting them out. So WHATEVER feels threatened will obviously want to bury the story and never let it get out. But the stars are learning how to fight back. NOW THE FUN BEGINS. But it won't be very entertaining. Can't have both. Edutainment is not a comfort some are allowed to have at this point in time
 Quoting: acegotflows

I didn't mean to quote those 1st 2 and have now edited them out. Maybe it's better with them in, as you quoted. [2nd amendment one, though--I don't have a gun personally, but do think there's a ton of hypocrisy about gun rights. or just hypocrisy about everything.]
Couldn't agree more about the lengths the comfortable will go to to 'bury the story'.
Kenny Chesney song was pretty- Thank you!
 Quoting: chauchat

you are quite welcome. Glad you enjoyed it. I figured that based on your comments it was something you needed to hear at least once . Listen to this song. Even though it's about "blacks" in America, the concept can be applied to anybody

 Quoting: acegotflows

That was edutaining. [and funny "not a perm -it's a temporary"lol] I was going to ask what you meant by that word- was picturing some lying history on the history channel or something.
You've said you've always been an outsider . I don't think people particularly like it when you can see right through them, and see that they're "strugglin'" for things you consider unworthy. And damned if they can't TELL too, even if you try to hide what you think of them. Still caring about them, and wanting to 'do no harm' [like hippocratic oath], , and trying hard to be ethical, is what gets you to the 'burned-out' stage like the "so tired" stage you've mentioned, maybe? At least that's been my experience. Is that anything like what you were talking about, being an outsider? [we really should probably adjourn to e-mail, I guess]

They certainly DID have the rule book! And there is a book that gives a very descript history of it and of them. Just many choose to ignore it.

Re: Did Native Americans have access to the Bible?
I am of Native American descent and was exposed to the bible. Thankfully, I refused to be converted even as a young kid, what a bunch of nut jobs those churches were. I still love them as fellow humans, but they are so lost and have their minds so closed.

If you dont know how to verify history through credible sources, thats your problem. That doesnt preclude the existence of Jesus, just because you dont know what happened.

Give me 1 book written by someone who wasn't already blindly believing in that fairy tail, stating that Jesus Christ was a live physical being and that all of the bull shit "he" did in the bible happened. I dare you.

Gladly, look up Celsus and Lucian. They mocked Christianity but confirmed it.

Got that from the first results on google as well. When you do your own research , stop talking out your ass, and relying on work others have done to base your opinions off of, we'll have a conversation. I'm all set with you now. 5a

Ah so you really dont want to research it. Thats what I thought, good luck to you.

Lol, well, our opinions on what research is obviously differs. You consider using google, clicking the first results, and believing it as truth, as your research. So our conversation is done.

Re: Did Native Americans have access to the Bible?
I've said it before and ill say it again..

The last passage in the bible states... I am Jesus the son of David the bright and morning star.
Good grief it's so obvious Jesus is symbolic only and a representation of the SUN!!!

Brainwashed people who can't think for themselves. I figured that out when I was 12!
