Yes, the FLU is a virus but when it lodges deep into your lungs and you can't cough up the crud, it sits there and ferments and becomes a secondary bacterial infection!
SO.... ANTIBIOTICS CAN SAVE YOUR LIFE WITH THE FLU, if it has caused a SECONDARY lung infection.
Fracking idiots!
The secondary infection is what kills most old folks, pneumonia is the number one cause of death in the elderly.
