Hmmm, last time I checked the elderly made antibodys like me and you so why did it not cause a reaction in them. Tata Grandma, big daddy FED wants that estate tax.

They don't make antibodies like you. The immune system weakens as it ages. Its ridiculously well known that the effectiveness of vaccines is lower on the elderly. Which is unfortunate...as the elderly are generally those with the greatest danger to the effects of the flu.

And if you took antibiotics to get over the sickness that followed a flu shot....then the flu shot wasn't what made you sick. The flu is a virus. Antibiotics don't effect viruses.
