Sure there are some good and valuable life lessons to be learned from the bible, but these religions who take every word in the bible literally have been fooled by the one they claim to hate the most.
If you are too stupid or too detached from God to know what He has asked from you, then there is no book in the world that will save your soul.
Be nice, be loving, forgive, and do not be selfish with your possessions are the basics of finding the true kingdom.
Casting judgement on others because they don't believe what you believe is not going to bring any of you closer to God, in fact it will only bring you further from Him.
