How do you know what god asks of you unless you do read the bible

Did he not say many times that the WORD (Which is the LORD) would be written in the HEARTS of those who beleive?

HE never once said the BIBLE is the "Word"..he said YESHUAH IS the "WORD" made flesh..who gave His life FOR us..so HIS WORD could be WRITTEN on our HEARTS.

If its not IN your heart and all on a page in a book..and all just in your head..you are fooling youself and following a MAN MADE" religion.

Op I agree with you I love God and know him but I think there are some good things in the bible I mostly believe the words of Jesus I think alot of things have been removed or the wording misenterpreted but then you have the thought of God said no man can take from or add to the book I always wonder Even if things were changed it was his divine order that allowed it but Im like you I just love him and try to love others and be forgiving words and deeds dont get you in to heaven God sees directly into your heart and If your heart is rotten I dont think it would change there are some people out there that are just plain rotten to the core

You might try putting that bible down and try applying what it has taught you to your own life experiences instead of judging everyone who disagrees with what you were lead to believe. It as I said earlier. The bible creates a sense of hate within the people who are so into it. The Pharisees studied the scriptures endlessly..and knew ALL ABOUT God..but they missed it totally..and were full of their own knowledge and ego..like so many today who know the bible back to front..but have not the faintest CLUE about the Heart of God.

They judge and look down on others..always condemning them and arguing back and forth with bible fight after bible fight..never ending year after year..so much pride and ego and head knowledge and hate for one another..insulting and calling names to eachother over gnats..JUST like the pharisees..so full of the WORD>.but hollow empty shells laden with hypocrisy and darkness.

Its the same today.

Know the bible all you want and quite it till your keyboard starts to smoke..but until yu KNOW the Lord IN your heart..you will remain UNCHANGED..and in fact be far worse than if you had never picked up the book in the fisrt place.
