Quoting: Quantum Anomaly Scientists Debunk the IQ Myth: Notion of Measuring One's Intelligence Quotient by Singular, Standardized Test Is Highly Misleading [link to www.sciencedaily.com] People in general are lazy and abhor any form of objective performance measurement. Subjective criticism of these imperfect measurement tools are merely thinly veiled attempts to disguise truth and protect incompetence... For the American public schooled crowd, IQ tests aren't perfect but they are the best way to predict productive human beings and assign vocations based on strengths/weeknesses. These facts are uncomfortable for some... ......exactly , subjectivity is for pin headed peons.....give me a person that is predictable and can be summed up by a multiple choice test..... And one of the highest IQ's in MENSA-UK is a fucking welder, so what is your point? Oh, and the guy that founded the Mega-society, he's just a Jack of all trades. Me, I'm dumber than a stump, and every time I think I've learned something, it just opens more questions. :Skillet slap: .....my point is the top of my head ......its so pointy i can poke peoples eyes out with it...... |

| Dexter Livingstone User ID: 32936607 02/21/2013 03:18 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | what is time? what is its nature? do you think its possible to predict the future based on the current progression of one's environment? How far ahead in the future do you think one can make such a prediction with certainty? (assume you have a power enough computer and some means to take snapshots of one's current environment) Because time is in essence, merely the vibration of atoms, yes with an infinitely powerful computer and an equally impressive method of collecting variables one could predict the path of every atom ad Infintum. I like this slant. Mentalism being a method of using the super computer of the brain to extrapolate future events. There are those out there who wish to draw the US and the world into chaos so that a NWO can be formed out of the rubble. These are highly intelligent psychopaths bent on mass genocide. Tell me 170, what chance do we have as commoners and world citizens to smack down this narcissistic elite club of killers? My hope is to provide a theoretical framework to stabilize and empower US Constitutional militias to act as a deterrent to elitist schemes of genocide and divide-and-conquer US fragmentation. What are your observations? IE can you fix a car, make a good dinner, are you good with thinking ahead and fixing mistakes before they happen? I've seen plenty of people way smarter than the average person yet be so dumbfounded when asked simple tasks |

Quoting: Aristide Torchia We must first agree an definitions. If you agree with me that sound is defined by vibrations in a certain bandwidth then yes, there was a sound. If you define "sound" as the brains interpretation of vibrations translated into thought then no. However, in your pedantic, exercise you fail to include other creatures which certainly would hear the tree fall. But, alas in the world of people who pose this silly question, they forget to remove insect, mammal, reptilian and bird life which in my world would remove the existance of the forest from the realm if possibility rendering the tree fall impossible. OP, you are either an idiot...or very careless.
