Thanks Flava and Nine's for the support. Spent the last few days reflecting and think I am over the curiosity. Some things are just not worth the emotional cost.

TB I used the spray on myself and it worked great, I didn't die or break out in a leppers rash, so I say mission accomplished. The neem sure does stink though! Maybe you could use less to start and add if you need to.

SO happy to be your sounding board. Glad you are happy with your decision

Girl still doesn't have a name. She doesn't seem to like them. She only answers to girl!LOL She DOES have a thing for soggy tennis balls, though! I really HATE slobber! She's almost as bad as a heifer!LOLOLOLOL Yick!!

Girl sounds like a good name. 8) Wonder if she was named Pearl, Curl, Curly? If you called her any of those the response should be the same because they sound alike to the dog. Hmmm. 8)

Isn't it adorable how they love their balls? There's one made by...crap, forget. Orbit, Obit, something like that. Whatever it is, it's made in the U.S. Like a Kong ball but it's soft rubber and they can make some neat squishy sounds with it. It has a hole in the middle.

You can run a rope through the hole and tie it and they love flinging it around, shaking it back and forth. Not safe in the house though, because sometimes it escapes from their shaking and flings itself across the room. Orka has the same type ball but I think it's made in China.

The tennis balls supposedly have something in the glue that harms a dogs teeth. Forget the scoop on it, but just fwiw if you're interested. I've seen many dogs playing with them though and they still had teeth. LOL.

Does she leave a string of drool each time she gets a drink? Doncha just love it? LOL.

Didn't know that about the tennis balls. We've used them for years. I'll have to look for the other type. Something that doesn't absorb drool!

LOL about the drool.

Honey is an adorable name and it sounds like it suits her!

You'll love the balls. They last forever if you don't use the rope. If you use the rope through it, they can eventually wear it out with the constant shaking they love to do with it, but even then, they last quite a while. When I notice one starting to give way where the rope contact is, I take the rope out and put it in a new one. Figured that out after the first one separated the ball down the middle after enough flinging.

Haven't had any split that haven't had the rope in it though. They're awesome toys. I think the sound it makes, makes them think they've caught something. LOL. It's a squishy, hard to describe sound, but no, they're nothing like tennis balls and easy to wipe or dry off. Pupster loves them. Even Little dog hasn't destroyed one....yet.

Flav, about the jewel weed. Seems like we talked the extract before, but don't remember what you decided. Here's a place that sells it. Not familiar with the company, how it's processed or anything, but it would save you a lot of work if it's a decent product.
[link to www.choosenaturalhealth.net]

Haven't been to the place it grows in abundance here since Pupster. It's grows in a swampy mosquito infested area that I don't want him in and don't feel particularly safe going alone. There's another place I'll check this year, but by the time it's able to be gathered after it's spread it's seeds, it's going to have to be shipped refrigerated if it's fresh, or it will be a mess by the time you get it. Be easier to dry it, but not sure how you want to process it. Just something to consider.

Oh Lordy, you got sucked into that game too? HAHAHAHA. Have you gotten to the point yet that you fling it as hard and far as you can, to give you a break between throws? While you're shopping for the other ball, ya might as well get the glow in the dark ball too. It's great for getting rid of night energy. LOL.

It sounds like she's got some good prey drive. Bet she's going to be a good guard for you.

The rope on the ball really saves your arm. You can fling it by the rope instead of the ball itself. Guess that probably wears them out faster, but you won't believe what a difference it makes. It'll be great to see you again. We can compare our arms and marvel at how one is much more muscular than the other. LOL.

She's awesome! Yeah, we've gotten roped into the game! Any time, day or night, gotta through the ball! Thanks for the glow in the dark idea. I didn't think of that one! Honey has more energy than legally allowable by law! The vet said she is about 3 years old, so lot's of years to go.

I'm so glad for you. It's good that she's that young. Just getting some maturity and has the energy and stamina to be lots of fun and know the limits of fun. Except the limit that we can't endure as long as them. Not sure they ever learn that one. That glow in the dark ball is the oddest thing. Only a few minutes of daylight and it's ready to go. Doesn't show up inside, but it sure does in a dark place. They're pretty nice. It's a lot more durable than the other balls and it also has the hole you can put the rope too.

I hope you all have a wonderful Easter today. Ours will probably be very quiet, since the kids are all farmed out! At least, our weather is nice. The rain is holding off until tomorrow night. I hope we see some. That would be better than jelly beans and chocolate bunnies!

Gotta get some more coffee! Love y'all.

Flav, as sorry as I am to hear about your hot water heater, and I really am, we got you beat today. Brakes on the car...almost $1000. We bought it used, over a year ago. In the past, all they did was change the pads and didn't calibrate anything or do all the other things they should do. Good thing I won at bingo the other night!

TB - Sorry about the brakes, that's a lot of money. We had to do the youngest daughter's front brakes $260, and she paid for the back ones ($285 with and oil change included). Didn't have to do the major rebuild though.
