Night, SO. I remember reading books. I used to do that, but now, all I seem to do is baby stuff, stuff for hubs, etc. etc. etc.!! I'll get back to it, I'm sure!

wait....a thread with a post by someone with the handle "Hard Eight" followed by a post by someone with the handle "Nine's".....?

Screw it! Gimme a $20 Horn bet and cover all the hard ways $20 and $5, two-ways, and another $20 Come bet!

lolLove craps! If you're ever in Stephenville, TX, The Hard Eight has GREAT BBQ.
Dealer, I'll take midnight for a nickel!
 Quoting: Hard Eight

Midnight is a pair of 6's? I am so confused. I'd like to walk up and make a bet some time and not feel like a fool. I don't care if I win or not, I just want to understand the damn bet!
 Quoting: Southern OR

12 (boxcars, midnight, or cornrows): Wins if shooter rolls a 12. [link to en.wikipedia.org (secure)]

There must be 100's of bets on a craps table. I keep it simple with come bets with single, double or triple odds on top and avoid the proposition bets.
For beginners, place bet on the pass line for the come out roll. After a number has been established, place at least single or double odds(up to posted limit) behind your pass line bet. Ex: $5 on pass line. 10 rolls, so shooter must roll a 10 to win before they roll a 7. Place odds behind your pass line bet. Odds on the 10 pay 2 to 1. So $10 odds placed behind the line will pay you $20 and they match your chips on the pass line 1 to 1. In this example you bet $15($5pass & $10odds) and get it back PLUS $25 in winnings.
Come bets work the same way but are placed AFTER a point has been established. EX: A shooter has established an 8. You walk up and place bet in the come. Shooter then rolls a 4. Your come bet is moved to the 4 and you place "free odds" on top. Odds pay 2 to 1 on the 4. You get 2 chips back for every 1 placed PLUS they match original come bet if shooter rolls a 4 before they roll a 7.
Simple, huh?lolsign

[link to www.amazon.com]

Free Odds on pass line/come bets is the best deal in a casino. You get paid 100%(no house vig) of the mathematical potential of the bet. Odds on 4&10= 2to1, 5&9=3to2 and 6&8=6to5. Pass line wins on 7&11 come out or looses on 2,3 or 12.

Usually when it sounds like a wild, loud party in the casino it will be the craps tables.

Just picked-up a NutriBullet juicer from Target and this thing is amazing. Made a fruit glass and then made a Bloody Mary type concoction. Didn't peel anything except the banana so easy to use and clean since no pulp to deal with. $10 gift card this week.

I got the cheapo version of a magic bullet from Aldi (grocery store) for 15 bucks and I love it too. It came with 6 cups 3 sm and 3 lg, I make all sorts of stuff in them. I even bought a second one for making my lotions and makeups in. They are to die for when making mineral makeups. I love that thing

All I know is her bp was good and her protein was WAY down on Thursday. They said the baby's heartbeat was good. That's why they didn't deliver then. I know it's normal for first's. I'm just not used to being on the grandma end of things!LOL When my daughter went into labor, she didn't have time for false alarms. Her water just broke and we went to the hospital. Easy peasy.

Sil's dr. even said the other day, he might have scared the kids too much. I hate waiting for phone calls!! Sheeeesh, it's hard being on the waiting end of it. The good thing is, little one made it another week!

Gotta love new fathers, though! I asked my son yesterday afternoon if baby had turned, because he told me she had dropped. He tells me, I don't know mom, they didn't do an ultra-sound on Thurs.! Poor kid! I told him you won't need one to tell, you'll know! He's so lost with all of this. If he could carry baby for sil, he would. I'm so proud of him.

I really am proud of him. We've been looking all over for ANYTHING baby that has daddy on it and can't find a darn thing!LOL Right now, everything has mommy or grandma on it. I guess we'll have to wait until Father's Day to find anything.

We did find out that the doctor was ready to deliver baby last Thursday. My sil's father was an anestheologist (if I spelled that right, it's a miracle!!) years ago, and he said the mother gets the steriod shots 2 days before delivery. They gave dil the shots last Monday and Tuesday. I guess he put it off because her numbers had improved. I figure she'll have baby anytime now, because the swing we ordered for them came in yesterday. That was the last big piece of stuff!

Well, we went to a wedding last night, one of my middle daughters friends! She actually dated the groom back in HS for a year.

It was nice to see them so happy, not that I ever see them not happy, but weddings are just a happy event.

The rest of the family are in Daytona today watching the race, so I get the whole house to myself today.

I think I am gonna make up some salt bars or something fun.

Good Morning, flavapor coffeecup

My sons continue to be the best sons a parent could ask for.

They are kept busy with their jobs and the oldest has a fiance' now, so we don't spend as much time together as we did in the past. But, that's how it goes.

We are thankful for the time we do have with each other and are grateful for those jobs and soon, I might have a new daughter-in-law.

I'm suppose to go out for dinner with her family later. Sounds like fun!

Enjoy your day!!
