That's a good way to do it TB. When we got Roxy, we had to change her name - it was the same as our youngest daughter's. Boy that was one confused dog for a little bit. We settled on Roxy because she seemed to respond to it.

I really am stumped with this one. We'll hit on the right name soon, I'm sure. Maybe it's just Girl. I hope not. That's totally LAST resort!LOL

when brandy had pups they were all black (scotties) and we had one that was pick of the litter and to go to the male dog's parents. Anyways, we named all the dogs knowing we were keeping Teddy bear and there were 2 other girls so we named one blackie and the other Big girl since she was the biggest girl. We knew it would be temporary till her new owners took her. She turned out to be afraid of the dark and at night she would cry and wake up the other pups and the kids, and keep us up, so I pulled her into bed with me and we became attached. The male dog owners couldnt stand to take her when they saw how attached she was to me and we kept her. She kept her name for 15 yrs, although we shortened it up to just biggie

That's what I'm afraid of!LOL I have been calling her Sweet Girl of Big Girl. I guess I could shorten it to Sweetie, but she's so big and almost majestic. She needs a better name. I've been trying to avoid the whole "ie" thing the last few times, too. All the critters seemed to have that for years!
