Thanks Nines. It is absolutely a life altering/adjusting experience dealing with the dog. It does make me want to crawl away, but sadly his almost fully blind little self just tries to find me or barks nonstop till I come find him.
The barking isn't something I can tune out like I could my kids when they were little, or threaten and have him stop!
The dog I think takes the biggest toll. I let him fall in the pool purposely hoping that the friendly reminder might keep him away from the edges for a while, but yes its a big concern for me especially since its not my dog and I wouldn't want that to happen on my watch, or any other really just especially not mine. People who have no kids, the dogs are the kids and that is how my daughter is about her dogs.
All the rest is just icing on the cake or more adequately the straw breaking the camels back
Quoting: flavapor I know, Flav.
