The strangest thing has happened this morning. I am woken up by a noise like ice from the icemaker going in to a glass when the house I quiet. It keeps going, so I get out of bed to bitch at someone about how much ice one person really needs (sounded like they were filling an ice chest).

Nobody is up, so I think to myself was I dreaming, then the noise starts again only I am standing in the kitchen alone and its not coming from the kitchen. It sounds like its coming from upstairs now, so I go to see what the hell my girls are doing at 8 am that is making all this noise.

The stairs are near my front door which has glass window panes on the upper 3/4 of both doors, they are not one piece of glass, they are more like French doors with the grids 6x8 squares. Anyways,, as I am going to the stairs, a black hawk is on my door step and keeps flying up a few feet to knock on my door with its beak. I thought it was injured so I went to the door and it flew down the walkway and sat and looked at me, all the while squawking to its friends. So I go back inside to have my coffee, and this bird comes back to the door and is doing it again. This has been going on for over 2 hours.

The hawk is my indian guardian, so heads up for me, something is going to happen. Whenever I see hawks I know I am supposed to pay attention.
