Locker room..while I may be modest enough to go into an area where I can disrobe in privacy it's not common practice when the joint is full with dozens of students, only a few stalls and very little time. In school we didn't have time to screw around and wait but because we were all girls most of us weren't too concerned about undressing or changing in the open. You think any girl wants to do that with a boy in there?

Sex is a private matter, parents going at it in front of their children is ridiculous any way you slice it. Some things do not need to be out in the open and you know it. Some things are meant to be sacred and personal, not for other eyes to see.

Look, I'm not bashing on any kid that is confused. I think it's sad really, to be that young and all mixed up but I don't believe we need to go so far as to accommodate them in where they urinate or change clothes.

As you say, there are stalls which means there is absolutely no reason why the young man/woman cannot go into the bathroom intended for their gender and just use the stall.

We need to leave all of this crap out of the schools. It needs to be dealt with at home. It needs to be brought to the kids attention that sometimes you have to sacrifice what you want and go along with the way things are. Minor inconvenience really.

Grade schoolers normally don't have a shower area for gym, they just smell all day. Showers don't normally happen until middle or high school.

Grade school should be easy. Don't ask, don't tell. For even the he/she's sake.

Maybe by the time he/she hits middle school he can opt out of gym (medical). That solves the problem. If that sounds to exclusive, I would argue that there's children everywhere that can't participate in gym for medical reasons, life isn't always fair.

When the Adams Apple arrives, then there will be a slew of crap he/she will have to deal with, though if the kids don't already know but then again, we all had a slew of shit to deal with in school.

Too bad he/she can't just be loud and proud of who he/she wants to be but in this day and age I don't think it would be well handled for anyone. There should be a magnet school for these types of things where every type of child could attend and experiment on how these issues can be handled, and YES, funded by taxpayers.
