I believe there are indeed females in male bodies and males in female bodies and it's more of a biological thing than a psychiatric problem. Some brain scans of some transgender males shows their brains are physically similar to female brains. Transgenderism, I think, has its roots in the development of the fetus in the womb. All people, male or female, (despite XY vs XX chromosomes) basically start out female in the womb until chemical signals tell the fetus to either shift into a biological male and begin developing that way, or the lack of said chemical signals results in a baby that continues developing biologically female.

But...No, no, no. Bathrooms are based on plumbing, not identity. You may be a woman in a man's body, but you're still in a man's body and therein lies the problem. If one was to get a sex change to snip this and reroute that, then fine, but not until then.

Same with sports teams. Gender identity notwithstanding, there are physical differences between men and women, and those physical differences are why there are different sports teams.

But the schools certainly shouldn't tolerate anyone picking on the transgender individual (or anyone for that matter) and anyone who does should face appropriate punishment.
