WTF...Saturn's Shockwaves Reach Supernova Force

Depends where it gets shot out of. What side and what direction. Good thing its only Saturn and not Earth directed.

Ya....Im trying to dig the web for more news on this...Be nice to see we will not be hit by this shockwave.....If its from a supernova....I just can't see how this will miss us the wave spreads out over time and distance....

Maybe we should seek:

Cassini's location at time of discovery?
Cassini's instrument(s) that detected discovery?
Cassini's direction they faced at time of discovery?

Ill tell ya something if we get hit we may see HUGE earthquakes if out magnetosphere rebounds from the incoming shockwave....

And The Sheeple, Despite So Many OBVIOUS Happenings Going On, As Above And So Below, Question Nothing, Do Nothing, Say Nothing...And Continue About Their Pathetic Little Lives As If Everything Is Normal, When CLEARLY It's Not.

So, In The End, What's Amazing And Strange, Isn't Really The

It could be that our universe behaved relatively uniformly for the past 2000-3000 years and now it is entering another non-uniform period. Science loves to find a few variables, assume some boundary condition is universal (without proof) and derive a model. They compare their results from the model from observations, observations made in what the past 400 years maybe and then extrapolate to billions of years.

Really, when you think about it, science is more religion than most religions as it takes a greater amount of faith to believe their conjecture.

You are right on track actually. If you do some digging, they actually prove each other. Separating the two is what got us in this mess to begin with.

At the primary level of awareness, we all know what's happening. The perplexing nature of our species is how we hide from the truth and pay it no mind.

The only rational conclusion is that we are addicted to our need for death. Dying is the only thing we all agree to having in common. Some like to add "taxes" to this while in reality a good majority of the world's population doesn't pay taxes.

Death is a lie that we have contrived against all knowledge of the truth. So we live... and die. All while minding our own business, scurrying around to make the best of things until the curtain falls.

Science doesn't know jack, it has theories that computer simulations are PROGRAMMED to say what it shows - data could be wrong. Models could be inaccurate, lacking variables, unknown unknowns, many of the OBVIOUS things do not take into account.

Something is obviously effecting our solar system as a whole. Could the reason 'meteors' are the norm is because these things are being catapulted out of the asteroid belt at us?

I totally believe that if a 'solar system' event were to occur, the chaos from it would obviously be used to start WW3.

It seems like all is being said is that the solar wind (you know, the constant stream of high energy particles from the sun that protects us from higher energy radiation from outside the solar system) is interacting with Saturn to produce the same high-energy particle effects as a supernova.

That's not the same as saying it's as powerful as a supernova, though. Supernovas, in a matter of seconds, release millions of times the energy that the sun will release over its lifetime.

High energy particles are possible, millions of times of the sun's energy over a few seconds is not possible. Not in this case.

It's interesting for the study of how extragalactic particles interact with objects in the solar system and interesting to see how high energy particles react in nature in an up close way, but it doesn't really mean anything significant. It's just day to day stuff for the sun and Saturn.

Normally I don't read anything with a skull as Avatar, but this was an exception.

It's not. It's about studying particle physics of the solar wind occurring at Saturn which are analogous to particle acceleration occurring around supernova remnants. From your link:

It's not like this just started happening, it's ALWAYS been happening, they're just now studying it in this manner.

These aren't actual shockwaves like from a supernova.

See it as this: In the LHC we collide particles to simulate the big bang. There are no actual big bangs taking place. This is the same with the solar wind impacting saturn.

There accelerated due to Saturn and nothing else you moran. Nothing happens to earth but when it hits Saturn ......
