Sheeple silent as the water continues to simmer, anytime it will start to BOIL! this article from march 2011 looks like happening now Hidden Inflation: Rising Prices Are Hitting Consumers Harder Than the Fed Will Admit Any U.S. consumer that goes to the grocery store or the gas station on a regular basis knows that prices are rising. Unfortunately, those rising prices are set to soar even higher - and their effects on consumers will continue to be ignored by the U.S. Federal Reserve. The United States has had a break from inflation the past couple years, while it exported higher prices to emerging market economies. The Fed's easy money policies created excess money that flowed overseas, and now those countries are seeing prices rise to threatening levels. (...) [link to moneymorning.com] wonderful.. |

Sheeple silent as the water continues to simmer, anytime it will start to BOIL! but your govt said nothing to worry about it.. Falling energy prices curb US inflation Posted: 22 February 2013 0126 hrs [link to www.channelnewsasia.com] WASHINGTON: US consumer prices were flat for a second month in a row in January, held down by a sharp drop in gasoline and fuel oil prices, government data released Thursday showed. The Labour Department said its consumer price index was unchanged, while core CPI, excluding food and energy, rose 0.3 per cent. The energy sub-index fell 1.7 per cent, its third consecutive decline, led by 3.0 per cent drops in prices for gasoline and fuel oil that offset a 1.1 per cent rise in electricity costs. Food prices were unchanged after inching up 0.2 per cent in the prior three months. In the overall CPI, clothing was the strongest price gainer, up 0.8 per cent. The data underscored continued weak inflationary pressures in the sluggish economy, which contracted 0.1 per cent in the fourth quarter of 2012 despite massive stimulus from the Federal Reserve. Year-over-year, CPI slowed for a third straight month, rising 1.6 per cent in January, its lowest rise in six months. In January 2012, CPI was up 2.9 per cent from the year-ago month. Core CPI was up 1.9 per cent from a year ago, driven by a 3.8 per cent jump in airline fares and a 3.1 per cent rise in medical care costs. "The year/year gain has been hovering around the two per cent mark for the past seven months, and shouldn't worry Fed officials too much," said Jennifer Lee of BMO Capital Markets. |

It's like many things have doubled in price and the price on many things is 8$. And I usually like to buy name brand items, but with the rising prices I've already gotten used to the "cheap shit". Desire is irrelevant. I am a Machine. |

Sheeple silent as the water continues to simmer, anytime it will start to BOIL! BOIL! BOIL! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 34911809 The American people are the proverbial frog in the pot. The water is hot, getting hotter, yet the people don't notice. Blinded be denial and droned-out by television they chose to pretend that everything is fine and things are 'going to get better' if we just keep doing what we're doing a little longer. But things are not going to get better. Food prices set to rise 30% THIS YEAR. Can you imagine? How are people going to EAT? Meanwhile gold and silver are declining(?) as the Fed pumps in 45 BILLION dollars a month to keep the stock market juiced and the people fooled. The dollar everyone works so hard for is in the process of being destroyed. So everyone works even MORE to get those fading dollars, which buy less and LESS. How much harder will the worker slaves allow themselves to be pushed before they push back? Push back?? What, are you KIDDING? Even the controlled "opposition" Glenn Beck, will tell you how crazy and "evil" you are, if you ever ACTUALLY push back. |

I do EVERYTHING possible to save money on food. I only buy things when they are on sale, use coupons as much as humanly possible. My supermarket runs some good sales, so I stock up on those things, like bread buy one get 2 free. I freeze milk, so I only buy it when it's on sale for $3.00. We also have a small garden and I can the things we grow. I cook from scratch A LOT. Thankfully my supermarket also gives you gas points, when you spend $100 you get 10 cent off a gallon, which adds after a couple of months. RoxykinsIII |

Sheeple silent as the water continues to simmer, anytime it will start to BOIL! The society, worldwide, had been domesticated to the point that the ONLY WAY to see people rising up in huge numbers (over 1.000.000) is the HUNGER. ONLY THE HUNGER. They won't rise up for anything else. If tomorrow, ALL AND EVERY COUNTRY LEADERS in this world will proclame themselves DICTATORS and will erase every right people have, BUT will keep food prices acceptable, X-factor keep going and the soap operas and clubs open, THERE WON'T BE MORE THAN 100.000 people / country revolting. And that number is easily controled and defeated.Look at the WEEKLY 200k-300k greek protests SINCE 2011.They did NOTHING. The americans will have same fate : will be beaten by the cops.If the american peeople will begin an armed revolt, they will BE DEAD. I hope that food prices in U.S. will reach so big prices, that every man will HAVE TO spend 70% on food and 30% on rent, to prove that I am right. ONLY WHEN the people will have to CHOOSE between FOOD and RENT, only than the U.S. will have a revolution. NOT EARLIER ! |

Time to get busy farming. yeah, they did that in Roamnia also. But, since 1700's, we are used to kill the landlords every 20-25 years. They should not bet on our land to feed them.To bury them, yeah. And I am quite sure that the same will happen in every poor country they bought land. |
