Food prices same here. I order my dinner from a company called yoshikei, they send you a box of fresh veggies and meat or fish everyday with a recipe. It costs me $46 a week to feed me, my husband and my son. There are usually left overs which my husband takes for lunch the next day. I spend about $150 for the rest of our groceries for the month. I do have prep stuff in case of an emergency, since we could have a big earthquake any time. Bottled water does expire after a year or so so I wouldn't really recommend spending too much on something like that. If need be, and you can't get fresh drinking water, catch rain and boil it.

I read someplace that bottled water doesnt expire.Just on there to sell you more.
I found a six pack dated expire 2008.Smelled fine.Clear and still sealed.Put it in the fridge and have drank it all.No ill effects at all from 5 year expired water.I am sure storage conditions could affect it.
