I can't imagine this not tasting bad, especially post shtf.
I brew pretty often, but without good water and sanitizer and some hops I think it'd be pretty infected. Still drinkable, but just not good.
I think I may try this just to try it though. I can get malt extract, but I don't think/know if its the same thing...
anyway, 5* for brewing related.
Quoting: pinkshirtguy Blue Ribbon malt syrup is what I use. The taste isn't bad, man. It's not great though. Like I said, it reminds me of Old Milwaukee. I realize that it won't impress an experienced brewer like you but it's a good recipe because all the ingredients can be stored indefinitely. And when the SHTF, even Old Milwaukee will taste pretty good. LOL.
