WORK PAY LEGAL QUESTION!! HELP PLEASE!!!
The place I work can take OR give you an hourly pay bonus or decrease, depending on how good you do at your sales... (different from our "commission")

The situation - They took $2.00 away from me per hour, although THEY TOOK IT AFTER TAXES.

I'm paying taxes as if I'm being payed my normal rate, yet they're taking that money after taxed and untaxed.

If that makes sense...

Someone else had did well with their sales, and their bonus WAS TAXED, they didn't get 160$... like I lost 160$

Hope this makes sense and wondering if anyone has any input on the situation or might have advice on what to do in a situation like this.

Thank you!

Use a search engine to find an employment lawyer in your town and call to make an appointment. Most won't charge you for an initial consultation...just ask.

Employers today can do just about whatever they wish

with a contract.

If you have a sales contract ; there is probably something in it about this.

I personally had 20% of my weekly income taken out due to contract.

I contacted a lawyer and basically
in a nut shell

If you work for them ; you are under their contract.

Employment lawyers will not help you unless it is a discrimination issue

black and white type of thing

today.

I contacted a lawyer and they were pretty upfront and honest and told me

that if I was black, I would have a lot options

but since I was white, forget it.

The first thing the lawyer asked me on the phone was; are you black or white

I would say, you will spend a lot of your own money and get nothing out of it

Today , in our

end of times society,

the employee is a slave for the employer

this was a slow process that happened over time but

it did

I'm pay taxes as if I'm making more than I actually am.

They're making my hourly wage deductions after taxes and everything is worked out, tax free directly from my paycheck.

This cannot be legal....

where I used to work people would get hired in on salary. thinking they'd work 40 hours a week. It turned into 55 hours for most of them. take it or leave it. the company didn't care..

AS far as legal, it might be. But If they properly report this you are not "out" anything. Excess collected Taxes are refunded by the IRS.

Just file a complaint with the Department of Labor.

They will review your complaint and contact your boss for you if they find a problem.

Its worked for me in the past.

Most employers find ways to get rid of you after you file complaints

They consult their lawyers and wait 6 months or so but usually your time is limited

properly report this... what's this? please explain...

if i'm paying taxes at a certain hourly rate, but they're deducting that rate, AFTER ALL TAXES are paid... by just taking x's dollars by how many hours I worked after everything is paid...

if they're taking LOWERING MY HOURLY PAY, I can only be taxed on what my hourly rate is.

they can't just look at how many hours i worked, and take that much after taxes... untaxed and unaccounted for no less.

Re: WORK PAY LEGAL QUESTION!! HELP PLEASE!!!
Yes, they need to take that out before taxes. You shouldn't pay taxes on what you are not getting paid. They are then making $$$ tax free
