"The Goddess Is Alive and Magic Is Afoot"
I've seen that bumpersticker a few times, always on chick's cars, and usually next to others something like "Born again Pagan" or a homosexual "=" sign.

Does anyone believe it and what is it supposed to mean?

Well that depends on your belief system. If you are a christian then they are going to hell. If you are a pagan then it is rebirth.

I haven't seen one of these yet...I will have to look for one in my area!

Re: "The Goddess Is Alive and Magic Is Afoot"
what is a goddess?

one should distinguish between female aspects of the source of all things in this universe and individual unique sovereign eternal beings

there are countless female aspects of the source of sources with whom one can interact and work with on earth

there are also countless individual unique sovereign eternal beings who present themselves in female form with whom one can interact and work with on earth

the aspects are needed because most humans can not connect to the purest forms of the sources being and can also be used as a step-ladder to reach its purest forms

Re: "The Goddess Is Alive and Magic Is Afoot"
Ok.... almost every religion agrees that they have a Great Spirit that is at the core of their religion. From the Christians, Muslims, Jewish and other based religions recognize the male side of the Great Spirit. They have called that side of the Great Spirit everything from God to Allah.

However, on the Pagan side, this group recognizes the Female side of the Great Spirit. Like other religions, the female side of the Great Spirit is called by many names. So to make things easier for those that do not recognize the Female side of the Great Spirit, they just refer to her as the Goddess. Much like the other Religions refer to the male side of the Great Spirit as God. Hence the statement that "The Goddess is alive".

As for the magic part of the statement, that too can be broken down into two different views.
In many different religions, the followers will pray for miracles to happen. And when something occurs that has no logical way for it to happen..."A Miracle has happened".
Much the same thing happens when a Pagan prays and requests a certain specif thing to happen. They will follow steps that has been written down by previous pagans, with the understanding that what they are asking for, will happen. Hence.."and Magic is afoot".

Even though Christians swear up and down the their prayers are nothing like the 'spells' that the pagans use, when a prayer is strong enough, the Miracle will happen.

However, each religion likes to state that their religion is the only true religion and that all others are false, that is wrong on many levels. Just like a Chair is a Chair, but the word is different in many different languages, so is religion. goodevil

Every thing in our universe revolves on one principle.

Duality

But that's the illusion of this universe.
