Re: What's causing my weight gain? Which nutrient am I missing?
Study: Eating egg yolks almost as dangerous as smoking

Researchers found that eating egg yolks regularly increased plaque buildup approximately two-thirds as much as smoking would.

Based on your irrationally strong reaction, I can only assume you sell eggs for a living. But the truth is that this is neither proved nor disproved.. See here:

Secondly, to the OP, why do you feel a need to stuff your stomach until you feel full? Doing this only increases your stomach size making you need more to stuff it making you stuff it more making it increase making..

Eat less, and your stomach will need less to be "full".

This is a question of strength of will power, of course

Re: What's causing my weight gain? Which nutrient am I missing?
Everyday I eat 24 or more eggs. 70 calories per eggs. 70x20 = 1400 calories. 4x70 = 280 calories. 1680 calories total.

I don't gain weight from eating eggs that's for sure. I don't even feel full/fat from eating eggs I sure still have more room to pack in more fat for my early heart attack, kidney failure, stroke, and death.

I only start feeling fat/full after eating a few green vegetables, such as broccoli, green pepper, celery, iceberg lettuce, cucumber, and spinach.

all of the above is pretty much less than 400 calories. 2100 calories a day max. I am a teenager, so 2100 is weight loss calories, yet I am gaining 2 pounds a day on average. It is not from the eggs I don't notice the weight gain from the days I only eat eggs.

Has to be the vegetables. I don't eat anything else other than eggs and green vegetables. No fruits, no grains, no dairy, no meat, no starchy vegetables. Just eggs and green vegetables.

I dare you to find one nutrient I am missing.

Eggs have COMPLETE protein, eggs have b12 vitamins.

Vegetables have other vitamins and minerals.

All the nutrients are fulfilled to some degree or other from the two above types of food.
Fat from eggs.
Carbohydrates from vegetables.
Complete proteins in perfect portions from eggs.
Vitamins from both vegetables and eggs.
Minerals from vegetables.
Calories from eggs.

I boil my eggs, with salt added. Yummy.

Make bets on how long it'll take for the salt and cholesterol combo bomb to kill me.

Re: What's causing my weight gain? Which nutrient am I missing?
There's over 100 'essential nutrients', it would be impossible to state if you were missing just one from any diet. Some deficiencies (like B12) can take years to develop before becoming symptomatic. However, saturated fat is a possibility given the foods listed.

Having said that, weight gain is more about the state of your metabolism. What is your body temperature, at various points in the day? Your pulse? Start monitoring these in addition to your weight. Higher body temps and pulse rates indicate a revved up metabolism, good for losing weight. Lower body temps and pulse rates indicate a slow metabolism, necessary for gaining weight.

Don't be surprised if find you need to increase you caloric intake to rev up your metabolism.

2 dozen eggs is an awful lot of eggs-and im one of those who believe eggs are good not bad.Its still a lot.

Are you male and training?(weights)
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 34968137

The heaviest thing I lift are school books.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 17837699

so youre still growing?
are you allowing for that being the cause of you'gaining' weight?

how do you know its not muscle mass(filling out with age)as compared to geting'fat'?really clothes are your ultimate source of telling this -but even then if youre still growing your clothes may not fit too.

Muslce mass and even gaining weight in a fat sense doesnt happen the day day or even the day after you eat something.

seriously though, you need a more balanced diet-im surprised you can poo eating all those eggs.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 34968137

no, as you mature even without excercise, being a man your muscle will fill out being denser and heavier, your bones will also be denser. For some men their bodies dont stop maturing till mid 20s.
I was surprised I could poop after eating a pound of cheese every day.

I don't exercise, it can't be muscle mass.

I am not growing much anymore I suppose. But still 2100 calories is too low to be gaining 2 pounds every day.

What's wrong with my diet? I am getting ALL the nutrients.

Several of us talk about this. I was down to 750 up to 1000 cals a day, no help. Thyroid tests normal.
I would say walk every morning 40 minutes to 1 hour, gives you energy, cures depression, starts your lungs and your day.
It takes 3-4 months to see the difference, but worth it.
We have decided it is in the food, even young gals with no car who walk everywhere have a muffin top now, it is crazy.

add some good sugars.
fruit-also good for fibre(pooing aid)in your case prunes too.
have some arganic or manuka honey for when you gett low blood sugar or cravings-have a teaspoon.

Try getting some aloe vera juice-good for intestines bowels and fibre(constipation)

drink more fluids too but maybe have a day off the eggs and eat heaps of high fibre fruits/veg etc to flush your system out and get things going again.

I refuse to include any sugar in my diet except from green vegetables.
Have you ever seen a celery stick? Those strings in there are fiber, there are masses of fiber in vegetables in general too.

I do not have sugar cravings, or low blood sugar, my blood sugar is completely normal, due to the absence of sugar in diet the body creates and regulate it's own supply of sugars from fatty acids.

WHY are you eating nothing but eggs and a random few vegetables?

Althought vegetables are good sorces of vitmins and minerals, they are not multivitamins...you have to eat cups and cups of vegetables to get the micronutrients you need. Have you tried tracking your diet on a nutrition tracking website to see if you truly are meeting your RDA for all necessary vitamins and minerals? Given a background in dietetics, I'm betting you think you're getting more nutrition than you actually are.

wrong.. btw, a weak heart causes water storage, too.
you asked about weight gain.
water storage is one possible answer.
if you do not workout with heavy weights and gain much muscle mass, i would recommend see a doctor and have a check-up.
if you eat completely salt-less, you maybe are missing elecrolytes, too. this can result in failures/malfunctioning organs and therefore water storage/weight gain, too.

MYTH #5: High-Protein Diets Cause Damage to the Kidneys

You will often hear from ill-informed sources that a high-protein diet damages the kidneys. Not so. Consider the following: everyone knows about step classes and aerobics. They are great calorie burners, get the blood and oxygen flowing, are good conditioners of the cardiovascular system, and, with certain variations, can even be good for muscle toning. So they’re a good thing, right?

Yes.

Except if you have a broken leg.

If you have a broken leg, or a sprained ankle, or shin splints, I’m going to suggest that you not take a step class until the injury heals. Under these special circumstances, the very weight-bearing that does so much good for the normal person is going to be more stress than you need during the healing phase. I’m going to tell you to stay off the leg, let it heal, and avoid putting additional stress on it at this time.

Does the fact that step class is not good for a person with a broken leg mean that the step class led to the broken leg?

No. And ketogenic diets do not—I repeat, do not—cause kidney disease. If your doctor says they do, politely ask him or her to show you the studies. (They don’t exist.) Ketogenic diets are, however, not a good thing if you have an existing kidney disease, much the way a step class is not a good thing if your leg is already broken... The rest are in above link.
