Physicists say they have found a Higgs boson

Strong Signs Higgs Boson Has Been Found

"GENEVA -- Physicists who last summer triumphantly announced the discovery of a new particle but held back from saying what it was, have declared there is now little doubt it was the long-sought Higgs boson, sometimes referred to as the "God particle."
