Silly me, I thought Chinese were smart. Not knowing our Bankers serve both sides and they passed on the code , told them how to use it.

No offense to any Chinese folks on this forum but what their hackers did is nothing special. With the right tools and software, most anyone can pull it off. The trick is 1. not getting caught and 2. obtaining the resources. For the Chinese, they don't have to fear being caught, it's not like American police are going to kick down their door like what would happen within minutes in the u.s. They also have financial backing for resources that most hackers would only dream of having. That being said, the fact that we now know precisely where the hacking attacks came from tells me one thing, the Chinese hackers aren't as good as they want us to believe. For all the resources they have, even the best in the world should have taken much longer to zero in on them. As a matter of fact, if they didn't rely so much on sitting in one base back in China and utilized more in depth strategies practiced by many western/Russian hackers, then it should have been to a point where the attack gets traced back to a different location and make it look like the Saudis or Iran did it. Anything but just pointing it back at themselves. I know I'm sounding a bit harsh on my judgment but these guys have fuck tons of money and resources. There should be no reason they got tracked like this unless either a. they aren't as good as they say, or b. they wanted us to know it was them. My bet is a.

Yeah I don't understand their strategy. After the Nobel Committee gave Liu Xiaobo that Peace Prize and China made us their Cuba, the Chinese became very deliberate with their hacking. We've caught their military doing it now so many times one wonders if a war with the west is what they are seeking because they are certainly crossing that red line. We are small and insignificant, but if they are doing this to everyone they are bound to get burned.

Luckily we have a secret weapon in this war so for now our defenses are up to it. There's not much else we can do for now. In terms of cyberspace we have a unique defense, but no offense capabilities beyond the bedroom anonymous, and it's not like we can challenge them on a battlefield alone either. We know how to sabotage, but we're not Iran either.

There's also no point in objecting to the Chinese as they don't even pick up the phone when we call. They really give new meaning to the term butthurt. Oh well they would deny it no matter what evidence we showed them anyhow. We'll just continue doing what we are doing, remind them via a middle man this is not the way to get into the arctic council. At least we still have that veto card over them. They want in, as the big resource hogger they have become they really must become a member there, but when behaving like this they can forget it.

Because many of them aren't layabout, lazy westerners with a massive privilege complex. They take personal responsibility for their own education instead of just expecting to be given a job at which they do the bare minimum to get by and then take it as a personal affront if someone tells them they lack required skills to remain competitive in the workplace.

Furthermore they don't have a huge social security system to fall back on if they can't quite make it out of bed in a Monday morning, and given the massive number of Chinese the competition for top jobs is enormous. Also, renting and owning a property is very expensive as they don't get huge subsidies from the state.

It's not that they are 'leet haxors', it's just that their western counterparts are not as skilled or as motivated and have very overinflated opinions of their talents.

Why do you ask?

Despite the fact the media seems to be really making a fuss about chinese hackers and how dangerous such activity is, I'm sure your own government and other independant parties do as much, even more sophisticated, hacking.

It goes unnoticed because well, the media that matters belongs primarily to the U.S.

Remember that virus which destroyed part of a nuclear reactor in Iran? I'm sure many others similar operations are being orchestrated right now.

Who can making a lot of money as a result of that? Anti-Virus software company right? They are making trillions of dollars!! Who are losing money? The computer user!! We have to buy and paying for the security software every year!! What a waste! More stupid Chinese kid hackers making software company rich! And the user wasting money! Very often anti-virus software makes our system slower and it courses many problems.
I just do not want to paying for the Security software!!!

How to stop them? Does anyone have an idea?

LOL the dinks. Trust me, we in America have much better haxorz than them. Not saying they're completely n00bs, but still.

Because they get paid $5 a day so their government can afford to hire more of them to work in the mud hut with a PC and net connection.

The reason has nothing to do with computers, but with them as People, and a society.

They have purpose.

They have discipline.

They value intellectualism.

They are loyal to their people, and culture, in ways most Nations dont understand.

They are industrious, and hardworking, for more than material reasons.

The western mind no longer understands these things, as it did years ago, when struggle was had. Struggle is what produces these qualities in the body politic.

China is also a long forward looking culture, and People, while the Western World lives in the now, with not much thought for tomorrow.

India is the same, though they are off mostly on spiritual quests as of right now, and trying to figure out some things, while china is securing production for the sustainment of their expansion on all levels.

America in particular is adrift, and ridding along the shore next to the rocks, as well as the EU countries.

Africa is also increasing its ties via BRICS, and will further continue to work with China economically. Eventually all western activity will be forced out of Africa, with the help of the Chinese and Russian Militarism if need be, for it seems that China has its sights now firmly set on Africa.

So yeah, they are good at hacking, and not just computer hacking, but economic hacking as well, and respecting their tactical wisdom is the first thing that any enemy of china would do.

And Asian people can read minds!

Because they have built almost every chip and mother board and system on the planet.

They simply hardwired hidden backdoors into EVERYTHING..so when the time came..they could easily subvert their enemies.

The Chinese brain works very differently to the western brain. I have experienced this a lot since moving to China.

Chinese people have a lot more perseverence than most people I have ever met in the west. They will work for 24 hours with no break during study time. They don't give up in exchange for small creature comforts, they make do with what they have and move on.

Also the way their brain processes information is very robotic and flows like a computer program. This means that they can use logic and predictable systems (maths, programming) extremely proficiently. But in exchange for this great talent, they lack left brain creative functions. For example, problem solving becomes impossible if there isnt just one correct answer.

Also Chinese education is a much higher and stricter standard than the west. I have been teaching here nearly a year and my students are doing college level maths when they are 12 and reading advanced english literature by about the same age. Most of them speak multiple languages and can express themselves very easily using maths. Now imagine what you can do with programming once you understand different commands, syntax etc.
