I disagree. Honesty is the best choice with your kids. As a "punker" in the 80s, I did ALL the drugs and sometimes it was FUN and sometimes it sucked. I've told my now 18 year old son all of when he asked, and guess what? He learned from my experiences and doesn't even drink....
