Isen't it illegal for the government to do this? Why are Replublicans not taking a tougher stance against this? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 35112396 you may be new here ... there is no difference between D & R at the leadership level. it is similar to wrestling ... on stage they're enemies, off stage they're friends all professional politicians have sold their soul, it is a requirement, for if they did not they would never have ever been re-elected, or elected for that matter. take a moment and think about all they ways we are separated while Oz hides behind the curtain. |

[link to www.infoplease.com] Now, if you figure that half of them are in no shape to resist (due to age, injury, disability ect..) that still leaves 10.2 million plus that have the knowledge they were trained with to resist - THAT IS WHAT THE .gov IS SCARED OF ! |

This story is being spread in a way that deliberately misleads his audience into thinking this rule is being arbitrarily applied to all veterans — and that is false. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 33282340 United States 02/25/2013 04:54 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Well in some cases...I can see this being a good thing. I was refused entry into the Army at the last minute due to an injury that I didn't even know about until I started training to leave, my neighbor got sent. He saw combat once and went batshit crazy, got sent home shortly after. He's all whacked out on dope and xanax, doctor shops, has no life and lives in his parents basement now he's about 45, he wasted away to almost nothing and resembles a 4 ft. gremlin coming off a 15 year long crack binge. Its a shame, but no way in hell should this guy have a gun. I think he already sold his for some drugs, if they let him keep it even.. Or my other buddy who served his time and once he got home he would act normal around people on the street then walk up into his apartment where you could hear him screaming and throwing shit all night for no apparent reason? Dude went nuts too. |

Isen't it illegal for the government to do this? Why are Replublicans not taking a tougher stance against this? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 35112396 There are THREE Political Parties running Washington these days. Two are known traditional Political Parties, Democrats and Republicans. The third Political Party is an insidious parasite which has infiltrated and embedded itself within the two visible Political Parties. This third Party is the 'Socialist Progressive Party' and members generally (with the exception of Hillary Clinton) keep this fact from the public while clinging to traditional Party labels like Democrat or Republican. They are deceivers, liars and criminals. They now have gained both leadership roles and the controlling vote in both of the traditional Parties. Both the Democratic and Republican Parties are now effectively the 'Socialist Progressive Party' and it has control of our nation. The 'Socialist Progressive Party' owns all three branches of our Federal Government. That is why the White House ignores the Constitution, there is no Justice to be found in our Courtrooms and Congress has submitted to an enemy of the nation. |

[link to occupycorporatism.com] Sounds like Mr. Coburn has things ass-backwards. The 'Second Amendment Right' is retained until such time a proper medical authority determines you are not mentally competent. The 'Second Amendment' only clarifies an inalienable right illuminated within the Constitution itself. A God Given Right. Last Edited by DataSponge on 02/25/2013 07:02 AM |

Dude went nuts too. My friend, for a minute consider what you have just stated. Due to your personal friendship with two lost individuals amoung over 21 million, you have concluded it reasonable to deny the rights of the remaining 21 million Veterans. No Law will stop your lost friends from obtaining a firearm if they desire one. Strive to see reality. Last Edited by DataSponge on 02/25/2013 07:15 AM |

He says he has a letter, he needs to take a picture of it. This is not the first time Mr. Connelly has tried to get the vets of this country stirred up. For every action, there is a reaction. Why get the veterans reacting??? The govt doesn't need to get the vets revolting, the states are disarming the citizens very well. The pro-gun citizens are battling a very sneaky govt. Smoke & mirrors folks! |
