I don't think that bacteria are going to help with this one. The stuff in those tanks is a hellbrew of really nasty highly radioactive acids and compounds from the early days of uranium enrichment and plutonium processing. Just how does one get rid of ridiculously radioactive hydrofluoric acid slurry? I don't think anyone knows, probably why they stuck it all in those tanks and kicked sand over it.
