The remembrance happens when living water comes out of New Jerusalem in the new earth and a bloom of life start off so all people ever born start off with their own 'starters kit'.

The world is without birds and animals for the 1,000 years. The ones at the feast die off and no more are born. That is because they could not be saved from the fire that engulfs the world at the end of the 1,000 year reign. Instead when New Jerusalem sets down as in Re:22 and the gates are opened the earth looks like it did in Ge:2. With New Jerusalem being full of people expansion takes place faster than it did with Adam so the 'desert' is an instant garden for all of mankind with the same ones Adam named and all their relatives.
