Anonymous Coward User ID: 8640456 United States 02/24/2013 12:32 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The problem is that they got the sheeple fooled which is the majority of people. They are clueless. At one point i tried to tell people who were about to buy a big pack of Splenda that they are not doing themselves a favor or mentioned to someone at Starbuck's who asked for 3 Splenda that they're making an unhealthy request only to be looked at as if i was crazy. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 35009917 I went out with my sister and her 3 year old to eat. he was thirsty and she bought him a red children's fruit juice. Guess what...it contained aspartame. The bottle had a very colorful design meant to appeal to kids. He's 3 years old!! I told my sister that he really shouldn't be drinking that. She didn't seem too concerned, let him drink half of it and since she was concerned for about a minute or maybe to avoid fighting with me, she drank the rest herself. Go figure. We're preaching to the converted. We're a minority really. But what about all the rest? I tuned you out when I got to the non-word "sheeple". |

In his article Aspartame, MSG and other Excitotoxins and the Hypothalamus he talks about the effect of excitotoxins on the sympathetic nervous system controlling centers in the hypothalamus. "Over stimulation could result in cardiac electrical abnormalities leading to sudden death. This has been demonstrated by hypothalalamic stimulation experiments. There have been clinical reports of cardiac related emergency room visits following a meal high in excitotoxin additives. Sudden deaths following such meals have also been reported. Since most hospitals rarely consider this in their differential diagnosis, we have no accurate data as to the number of ER visits and deaths related to this event. I suspect the numbers would be quite high." Quoting: Anonymous Coward 35009917 i]He said in conclusion, "There is compelling evidence to indicate that food additive excitotoxins, such as aspartame, pose a serious danger to our well being, especially so in the case of children and the elderly. It has been demonstrated that excitotoxins in the diet can dramatically elevate free radical generation for prolonged periods of time and that once induced, it triggers a viscous cycle that ends in neurons death. Most authorities now agree that elevated free radical generation is associated with virtually all degenerative diseases as well as most injuries and toxins. It makes little sense to expose the general public to a product that we know increases free radical generation so dramatically and is associated with laboratory proven injuries to the nervous system." I have his book. It reads like a manual of death. We are being killed, slowly..... Since you believe that, then you are....not me.... They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. - King James Bible "Authorized Version", Pure Cambridge Edition |

I would stay away from soy milk as it's not really good for you. Just take a cup of raw almonds (ideally soaked overnight) and throw into a blender (the powerful kind) with three cups of water and whip to a froth. You can keep the sediment or strain through a cheese cloth or paint strainer or piece of cotton fabric. There are plenty of Youtube videos on how to make almond milk. It's delicious and lasts 5 days in the fridge. Much better and healthier than the store bought kind and loaded with calcium. |

I had a customer of mine put a ring of aspertame using about 5 or 6 equal packets. It had hundreds of ants in this pile. The next morning there wasnt a single ant, not even one to be found! Although the FDA considers aspartame to be a "safe and suitable" sweetener that promotes large retail research budgets, a recent Yale University study appears to directly challenge the claim that aspartame would reduce obesity. In fact, the study concluded just the opposite, that artificial sweeteners actually contributed to obesity, Type 2 diabetes and death. There, that's better.. |
