Re: Viacom mind control programming targeting mothers
Okay, I haven't seen the show and don't plan to, but what is wrong with not wanting to wear the uniform of the SAHM and being a frumpy mess?

I dress up/down, heels or not and generally take care of myself. I have closet full of clothes I love, shoes I adore and a husband that appreciates the effort.

It's why I don't watch much television. Used to be that women looked nice because it was socially expected of them. Now, it's socially accepted that you're supposed to look like a hot mess, unless you want to do something immoral.

Shows like this are two fold. One it shows the frumps your life would be better if you put that spanx on and go out, and life is grand. If you do it for no reason then you want to or to make your spouse happy, then you get told you resent your kids.

Either way, it gets the message out that women are supposed to have it all and something's wrong if you don't and/or being a mother is unfulfilling and not worthwhile.

I think you're missing the point I was trying to make. The segment I watched made it seem it's either/or. A mom can look nice, be sexy for her husband, and still enjoy motherhood. But, so much out there seems to tell women that having children means your life is over.
As a society, we should treasure the role of mother. Mothers are the future of our society. Good, devoted mothers mean stable children who will be productive and compassionate. Selfish, disinterested mothers will produce unstable children who are selfish and a drain on society.
A selfish mom makes a bad wife too. A wife who isn't satisfied with her life and role as a a mom may go looking outside her marriage for validation from other men.
A wife who is happy with her children is way less likely to have the need to go out on the prowl. Her priorities are her family: her children and husband.

I don't know if I'm making sense, but I feel that family is so important, and I feel like modern society treats family like something disposable.

Re: Viacom mind control programming targeting mothers
way, it's totally subliminal and IMHO seeks to undermine the foundations of an effective and fulfilling motherhood experience. Not to mention that's just stupid.

We got rid of cable a while back and got an antenna, mostly so my husband can watch sports. We did get a ROKU so that we can watch specific shows and movies, but we have found that we watch maybe a tenth of the TV we used to and save about $60 a month.

It was an actual show. I've never sat down and watched NickMom for more than a minute while I'm trying to find something else, but it's programming targeted at mothers. Every segment I've caught seems stupid, and seriously insults my intelligence, but last night really caught my attention.

I've thought about getting rid of cable, but my husband doesn't want to. We're also really big in to the Walking Dead, so we haven't jumped the gun on cancelling the programming yet.

What do you think of those high school programs that proport to deter girls from single motherhood by presenting infants as the most disgusting, uncomfortable, horrible things that ruin your life?

And sticking them with these robot babies to drive the point home...

[link to www.cals.ncsu.edu]

Students fill out a nine-month time line to learn what happens during pregnancy. They learn about sexually transmitted diseases, what they are and how they are spread. They create an 18-year time line for their child’s life as a minor. And they develop a budget to discover what it costs to raise a child.

Then they receive their “babies” for five nights. Riemer usually hands out a special type of baby known as a “Real Care Baby.” Like the other computerized babies, these are programmed to be cared for by one person. But unlike those that require only insertion of a key to “respond” to a baby’s needs, the Real Care Babies must be fed bottles and have their diapers changed.

Sometimes they have to be rocked to quiet them down. They record how quickly the students respond to their needs, and they register any incidents of rough handling.

No one can bond with a doll the way they bond with their own child, so do they get an inaccurate view of parenting from these programs?

Re: Viacom mind control programming targeting mothers
It's probably too late in the game to be talking about mind control. Most people have already been programmed beyond the point of no return.
It's very likely that it is too late to wake most of them up to what had been done to them.
The mission the media was to carry out has been accomplished..and I will say it was accomplished very efficiently.

If there is anybody on here who knows of any way to repair the damage the media and entertainment industry have done to the minds of the population, I would love to hear what it is..as I believe it is time to stick a fork in it..it's done.

Thanks for turning me on to this, OP, never heard of the show before, but no doubt I will be and I've got to be ready to shame people for not getting it.

Sadly, having "Been out there" for a while until the last few years, I can safely tell you that most women already have this programming.

In fact, my own mother ruined the family the same way in 1977.

So you must be like 40 years old or more? We definitely need to process our childhoods, but is this as far as you've gotten at this point?? ...And what shows are you blaming your childhood family dynamics on? Mary Tyler Moore? Wonder Woman?

EDIT: This is not to say that I don't agree that TV continues to be a primary source of programming. Children and lesser-evolved souls should be kept away from much of it.

OP, I hear your sincerity; but you sound quite young. Life as a human is more rich and complex than this. In time you will appreciate that.

EDIT: Women who feel ambivalent about having kids should not feel compelled by societal pressures to have them in order to "find meaning" in life. How much happier everyone would be, including the children who would instead be born (or raised) by those who actually feel a calling to parenthood, and who enjoy children. What a concept!

the reason: turn the world upside down, it falls apart, when the "savior" appears, he rights it back, and the world follows him, although in reality he is evil and implements a world control system, taking away all god given natural rights of freedom and freewill.

Re: Viacom mind control programming targeting mothers
Viacom is evil. They bought out Nickelodeon, a few years ago. MTV and Viacom is running all the kids TV programs and web sites. Take a look at what they did to Neopets, and popular kid game site.

They have this new event, where the kids learned there was a big earthquake. The quake uncovered an obelisk, and the players have to help dig it up.

Players talk about what these groups/factions represent.

The Sway, Illuminati secretive group, that wants to keep the obelisk power for themselves, not for the masses.

[link to www.youtube.com]

The Awakened,This group are zombies. The kids think it's great to be a zombie. I haven't figured if the Awakened Zombies represent the sheeple, or what.

The Thieves Guild, will steal from anyone, no matter what the cost. Players on the chat boards say these are the bankers, and world puppet leaders.

The Seekers, scientists, researchers, truthers, book smart, inventors. This group wants to preserve history of the obelisk, and learn from it.

The Brute Squadan army of unknown origin, who just wants to kill anyone in their way. Warmongers, possibly the United Nations/Vatican, Sway/Illuminati controlled.

The Order of the Red Erisim Witches, and wizards who want to harness the obelisk power for themselves.

All these factions are after the obelisk, and a war is going to happen.

See all the videos here, and you will see what I'm talking about!
[link to www.youtube.com]

Quiz: which faction will you join?
Personality test, or a morals test here.
[link to www.sunnyneo.com]

#obeliskwar
[link to twitter.com (secure)]

All these factions are invading a little village, 3rd world country. So far the villagers have been silent.

I think it's pretty creepy, that so many kids are picking the Sway/Illuminati faction!!! The think they are great, and want them to takeover and control the world!!!

Neopets is now acting like a communist/Marxist Illuminati controlled site to brainwash children, via Viacom and MTV.

Neopets took away players learned abilities/strategies earned and paid for, to make all the players equal. Players are not happy about it, but have slowly excepted this.

This is the programming of Viacom. I can't explain it, but it's evil. It's making war and controlling the masses sound fun, and okay.

I don't know if non members can see this page showing the obelisk Illuminati symbols.

Absolutely correct. TV is indeed nearly 100% controlled by the Illuminati. They know exactly what they are doing and how to do it.

If you turn on your TV, you are being programmed no matter what you are watching. Even the shows that seem harmless have something somewhere directed at your mind even if you can't see it. If they don't put it in directly or covertly, they'll get it in subliminally. You can't escape it if you have a TV.

There's a newer programming line up called NickMom, and it plays at night on Nick Jr. I'm trying to make sense of what I just saw...

There's a depressed, frumpy looking woman who is being offered shaved legs and spanx (underwear that makes you look thinner). It plays out like green eggs and ham.
Well, the lady is a miserable mother who has a messy house and breaks down crying, while refusing the shaved legs and spanx.
When she finally gives in, she goes out partying, and then walking down a runway in her spanx underwear.

Really, what it all boils down to is this...Christianity grew dramatically and gained a strong foothold in the previous Century. They hate Christianity and their main focus is to destroy it by any and all means.

However, this is where they are short sided. Once Christian based values and ideas have been completely destroyed..and they almost are..not quite there yet, but getting there..

Once they accomplish this, it is highly doubtful they have planned on how to effectively manage such a society worldwide without traditionally held family attachments and values..that is where things are going to get dicey....and dangerous.

They don't care though..they hate Christianity's influence so much, they do not care about the future fallout. They don't care for a lot of other religions either, but Christianity is target number 1 above all others and has been for the last generation.

Muslims will be next..however, they are going to have unanticipated problems with the extremist movements they created.. but that's on down the road. If they are anything, they are patient.

When I say "respectful Hatred" I'm being colorful. I don't believe anyone really hates a baby, regardless of programming, but Casey Anthony types are way beyond simple hatred and, clearly, are not particularly respectful.

So, to appease your need for less colorful expression, let's teach the kids to have a strong distaste for the idea of procreation.

Re: Viacom mind control programming targeting mothers
There's a newer programming line up called NickMom, and it plays at night on Nick Jr. I'm trying to make sense of what I just saw...

There's a depressed, frumpy looking woman who is being offered shaved legs and spanx (underwear that makes you look thinner). It plays out like green eggs and ham.
Well, the lady is a miserable mother who has a messy house and breaks down crying, while refusing the shaved legs and spanx.
When she finally gives in, she goes out partying, and then walking down a runway in her spanx underwear.

Ummmm, what the hell is that?

Re: Viacom mind control programming targeting mothers
I think a big thing is to teach young girls to respect themselves and their bodies. There's such a porn culture out there, where the value is placed on the body and how much random sex you can have.

I sort of agree but the meme "respect yourself and/or your body" is harmful, because it's really meaningless.

It's got all the punch of "Support the troops"

How shall we support the troops? Scaffolding? Send money? We already pay them.

By teaching teenagers how utterly hopeless and horrible it is to raise children, the mental scarring of abortion and the lifelong depression of adoption I believe we can curtail most if not all of teenage pregnancy, maybe even young 20's pregnancy.

In fact, since most 20-somethings become alcoholics or drug addicts by 30...if we can convince them to wait until they're 30+ we can really just keep child-bearing to the people who sort of cross the finish line and haven't revealed themselves to be crazy sociopaths with history of abuse and substance problems.
