I visited a Master Mason's house this week. | |

The first think I saw when we pulled up was an electric gate, a nice one, and on both sides of the fence were large Freemason signs with the G in the middle. This guy was flaunting it. As we pulled through the gate another Freemason sign, a very large one on top of his house. A huge Elk statue was also visible as you pull in on it's hind legs and kicking his feet in the air. The front of the house was quite interesting. More signs on the door and one in particular had a 32 on it. There was also a plaque saying something about him being the Exalted One. I will refrain from saying the kind of work I do, but I can say this: I used to believe all the conspiracy theories about the masons until this job. I think it's just like a fraternity for grown men - like a club (imho). His bookshelves are really interesting, but that's about it. (I apologize for the fact that this post is not more exciting; it is, however, honest.) |
