It's a good thing. Having a strong Japan will make China behave better, and reduce US expenditure and presence in the region.

No surprise here. The Chinese have been overrun by Japan for centuries. There is something about the Chinese that makes them submissive and there is something about the Japanese that makes them aggressive. That's why the Nazis were allied with the Japanese because they were considered superior to all the other Asian races.

Remember where all of the high tech came from the 1980's to the present - Japan. Do you really think that the country that helps to pioneer all of the world's most advanced technology is going to be defeated by a third world country with limited technology? Hell no.

After decades of being threatened by such weapons, anyone with common sense knows that Japan would have prepped such defensive (and offensive) weapons to deal with this threat in the same way the United States did during the Cold War.

I doubt China would nuke Japan. First they'd fear retaliation by the US and second they'd be cast out of the world community. Nobody would do business with them, certainly not the US or Europe.

japans anti ballistic missle systems are little more then revamped patriots I seriously doubt they could stop an ICBM set for an airburst but even then china does not field the army of the 70s in most areas from small arms to submarines and jets they are as advanced as any 1st world nation
