Yes it is a lamprey. That's pretty massive they usually are half that size

A giant mutated Lamprey. Those things never get that big. It's not a camera trick either or that man's hand would've been blurred. Plus look at what he speared it with. It's real but not a lamprey.

I agree entirely. It is a sea lamprey alright, but I think some SERIOUS preparation was done BEFORE taking the photo, to make sure the sea lamprey looked MUCH bigger. That, combined with some photoshop alterations, and BAM, you have that photo.

Don't mistake my words, I think the photo is "real" so to speak, but I believe its a trick of camera angle/photoshop touchup.

Regardless, I'm sure it was still very big for a sea lamprey.

New Jersey is so polluted with industrial chemicals there are probably all kinds of mutants running, crawling, flying and swiming around.
