It's a poetic metaphor

Is that an answer to Daniel 12? If so, a metaphor for what? What does EVERLASTING life represent and EVERLASTING contempt?

The soul is neither male nor female. that is why you will see "sons of God" in the Bible, and never "daughters of God". The soul is spirit and the Bible is primarily about the spirit or heavenly realm.

Male and female belongs to the physical body,which is just an earthly dwelling in which the soul lives (2 Cor 5:1).

a soul spends up to one year in Gehinnom- a state of existence that purges a soul of its impurities due to sin and serves as punishment for transgressions during lifetime. then it moves on to Gan Eden- a repository of souls that reside in the light of their Creator and receive their spiritual reward for their deeds in their lifetimes. There they await the resurrection of the dead which will occur at some time during or after the Messiah's arrival and will occur in a completely transformed world. no one can grasp what this state of existence will be like.

That sounds like the Roman Catholic concept of purgatory and eternal life. No?
