Quoting: Anonymous Coward 34812179 But for when you are unable to have food handy?! Considering the price, amount of protein / grams, it still would be much cheaper, and would save you a lot, if you had nuts or even beef jerkey which breaks down to amino acids, with you. But, if you want to pay it, go ahead. I believe it's a rip off. Plus, the protein is typically derived from powdered whey protein. Even if you, brought powdered protein powder with you, this would still much much cheaper. |

You can buy a container of protein, get probably 1000% more. Plus each scoop of whey protein powder, is about 20 grams, which is equivalent, to 10 pills (or 20,000 milligrams) of the pills. Again, if you want to save literally hundreds in the long run, at least go with the powdered form. Good protein, from fish, eggs, etc, I believe are still better. For example, with fish, you also get the essential oils, which are good for the eyes, lowers cholesterol, good for your skin, cell membranes, neurons, nervous system, etc. |
