therein lies a secret. to debase oneself and consider others better. that does not excuse wickedness which should be dealt with by justice. but to realize that each of us has the potential to do wrong and to be on guard to protect your own heart from harboring hatred against others. it is difficult in a time when so much evil is taking place which attacks each of our abilities to love. so let us be careful to change ourselves first in the hope that others may also change.
