Possibly a dumb question but I'll ask anyway , it's about DAMASK style wallpaper , is there any connection w/ Damask & the occult ?

I'm redoing my walls , I'll Probobly paint them and use a stencil design but I might also use wallpaper. I like a lot of the Celtic & morocan patterns and I also feel like some of the celtic patters could possibly bring good energy. I've always had sort of a fondness towards Victorian or even gothic style interiors , especially the damask style wallpapers , but for some reason ever since I've started learning more about the occult . I keep wondering about these designs. So I finally decided to post a thread to find out of I'm being overly paranoid or if anyone knows of a any possible connections with damask designs & the occult.
