They are not being proven wrong. They are actually being proven right. Just so happens everyone seems to thinks that the Mayans were referring to some magical bomb going off inside the Earth on one of these dates. That's not the case.

That week of March 21-31 2013 is when from our perspective of the Sun will be going through the last few degrees of Aquarius and into Picses. For the next 2100 years or so the Spring Equinox will be going further and further into Aquarius from what we can tell until it finally Rises in Capricorn in the far far future. That will be Age of Capricorn.

These dates are significant for the signs in the stars.

Your absolutely right? there are no daily sacrifices being conducted at this time and probably wont ever be again in human history as this has been fulfilled in Christ sacrifice on the cross.

Lets just say there may be a little mistranslation going on and say it is suppose to say something more like "When you see the Abomination standing in the Holy place flee to the mountains of Judea"

"Standing" is directly related to a MAN STANDING in the Holy place of Jerusalem.

If you look through your concordance you will see that the words "Daily sacrifice" has been added to the original text, you remove the word "Sacrifice" and it more likely should read "daily ceremonies"

March 21st-22nd also happens to look very much like the 1260 day mark from the exact end of the "Sabbatical week, and the Jubilee ending in 2015-2016.

So very prophetic indeed.
