Why step down during Lent, the holiest period of the year for Catholics, and take the focus off preparation for Easter? If it was really because of health he would have waited till after Easter to announce it.

Also, why would the Holy Spirit guide the Cardinals at the last conclave to select someone for Pope that would not be able to see out his term for natural reasons? That would make me question the whole basis of divine guidance.

The only impostor here is your belief system.
