Then your God made a fucking bad job:
With very, very, very, very, ... few exceptions at solar eclipses the moon seems either bigger (total eclipse) or smaller (anular eclipse) than the sun.

And if it's by design, why does God allow the Moon to drift away from Earth - so that we will have no more total eclipses in some hundred thousand years?

If I'd make my job like this, I emmidiately would be fired.
