He was offered a plea deal but said no. He is going to figh this in court, good for him
Quoting: Philligan if his lawyer doesnot tell his jury about Jury Nullification, he should fire his attorney on the spot; take over his own case; tell his jury about Jury Nullification, then eventually get a new attorney. If iamnot using the right word, someone please interject the correct word. Thank you. Lawyers have more than just a distinct distaste for jury nullification. It would render them superfluous in many cases, severely cutting into their profit margin. A collusion to keep things as they are... and the general public ignorant about what they can do if they feel a law itself is unjust.
