The weird thing is, in the 20 some years we've lived here, I don't ever remember having a blizzard warning for the South Plains. |

Hey, Legion! I know! It was 70 and not a cloud in the sky, 2 hours ago. Now, it's really dark and the temp has dropped to 60. The wind stopped, too, just now. I'm not liking this. |

Quoting: Texan Buckeye Mod's, please don't unpin this thread. This is the weirdest weather I've seen here. I read it's 68 in Lubbock TX and they're under a Blizzard Warning. Strange, very strange. I wouldn't be surprised to see some tornadoes across the southern plains tomorrow. |

We could see over a foot if it drifts a little more north. Either way, we'll have really high wind and lots of snow. I'm surprised we're not included in the Blizzard Warning, but it's early. Hey Saddletramp, I'm back from town. There was NO wind when I left the house and now, the front is here. The only thing blowing so far is wind, trash, and tumbleweeds. The temp at the house is down to 43. |
