You do realize, doom, like other brainwashing tactics is just a way to keep you under control and in fear.

I would suggest enjoying life and having some fun. Doom, historically, has always been just around the corner.

There's nothing wrong with prepping. However don't let THEM scare you into not ENJOYING your time here as best you can. Radiate positive energy and have FUN. FUCK THEM.

It's not an either or question. I've been saving for months now to move to the country, learning new skills, and find that prepping has made me feel much more capable.

life is what you make it. i happen to think the earth is quite beautiful. enjoy yourself, OP, have some fun. Prepping is fine, but like others mentioned, spiritual prepping is the most important, every other type of prepping is done in vain.

no, you can't stop what's coming, but you can also enjoy the ride.

medical supplies

comfort supplies

i am happy i did it
but at the same time looking at it all then seeing that no DOOM is happening
kinda makes me wish i would of bough silver with the thousands and thousand i have spent

Start eating rice and beans a few times a week and fill in the other days with your canned good. I can't think of a worse doom.

You could prep for 50 years and not be prepared for the particular catastrophe which befalls you. What then? You have spent your life in pursuit of what if's. I say have fun. Go out and look at the goodness which surrounds you today. You may even stop thinking of DOOM, oh my gosh!

Seriously, life is for living today, for now. Now is all we have. It is ok to take care of your family but don't go overboard and lose sight of what is right in front of you now.

You can have security in being prepared for whatever doom may come, but, dude, no need to want something that could make life miserable.

Spend enough money to be secure in the knowledge you can survive pandemic, economic collapse, EPM, Russkies invading, food shortages, etc.

Then party your ass off, get laid, join a chess club, go racing, whatever. !

The answer lies in the middle.

Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

In life everything has to be balanced, for the best outcome.

You can't just live for today because you will need to live tomorrow also.

And you shouldn't just live for tomorrow, find balance.

you should have been eating and rotating supplies. so do that, and then do what others have suggested and LIVE. hanging around waiting for 'doom' is mental. find that happy medium - its a no brainer!

I go back and forth on my feelings about prepping...I feel mental prepping is huge in all of this, as much of the shift might not be something tangible...

Then again, I definitely think about what it would be like with no power, no stocked food, etc. and I try to come up with a plan...but in reality I feel we will never be prepped in all areas when some of these changes come!

agreed to an extent^. or, alternative #2; grow your own marijuana, and prep with the money you save getting high for 'free' minus electricity and initial investment which if you know where to shop on the internet is really fairly cheap.

Eat your canned food! Don't buy food that you don't eat. Prepping can actually save you money if you do it right. Stockpile food that you'll actually eat. Then when you go shopping instead of having to buy the stuff you are out of you can buy what is on sale.

Also, you might find a prepping solution that involves fun. I like to grow stuff and that is prepping.
