### Elisa Lam - the elevator - video - discussion - thread ! ###

Well, most people wouldn't use that hotel at all. It's not exactly in the classiest part of LA. It's known to be the cheapest hotel in that part of LA and it's right beside Skid Row which is essentially where all the drug addicts and homeless people hang out. But the stupid thing is, now that this event has happened, they've had so many calls from people wanting to stay there that prices have jumped up 3x. That is how stupid people are.

Just to give my opinion after watching the video several times, reading and considering other peoples ideas.

It does appear to me that she is being playful at first, and not hiding from someone. When she walks in the elevator, and turns to the buttons, she does a bit of a spin with her arm up. It looks like a playful action.

She then stands back just standing there. I think she might be drunk or on a dissociative. I've seen several say she was too coherent to be intoxicated. I don't think these people have experimented enough with drugs or been drunk enough times to know. You can be drunk and still stand up. Anyways.

Looks like she maybe hears something or someone? Sticks her head out. If I was fearful I would have been a bit more discreet with sticking my head out and looking both ways. Maybe that's just me.

She then goes back inside and yes it looks like she is hiding in the corner. And when she goes to look outside the elevator again.. See that playful "hop" she does, jumping out of the elevator? Someone scared for their safety it's acting like that.

Then her weird stepping side and back, that seems like she is intoxicated. She steps outside and to the left, and after a moment, you can see her arm lift up to her head, stays there for 15 seconds before she walks back in the elevator you can see both hands on her head.

When she steps outside the elevator the next time she just looks like she is trippin balls. I think she was on something, intentionally or not.

How the door jumps when it is closing at 2:58 makes the video seem edited.

Security cameras often stop recording when their is no activity, I think she was a schizophrenic introvert playing a game with her other half who convinced her to explore the roof and go for a swim in the water tank,sad!

You're a fucking moron. The cameras don't stop recording. And the time and date can be seen continuing to move at the bottom of the screen. The whole point of security cameras is that they DON'T stop recording so that the police can go back and review what is recorded at exactly a specific time.

And your comment about her "other half" convincing her to explore the roof and go for a swim is laughably stupid.

First I seen the video and it is indeed wierd. What I got out of watching it was she intended to use the elevator, as it began to shut something stopped it and she heard whatever it was. It startled her and she peeked to see what it was. There is no doubt she must have had an encounter with whatever it was before this. She was scared enough to try to hide, but whatever it was already knew she was on the elevator. When she got the courage to look again she was spoken too and at that point she got off the elevator. It almost looked like she jumped off as if forced somehow. She is fighting the force and takes a step back into the elevator but finally gives in and walks out and to the left. She grabs her head when she is outside the elevator. This reminds me of the early signs of demonic possession. She walks back on the elevator disoriented and desparetly trying to get it to work. The camera is jumping looks like energy spikes. She walks back out and it looks like she is pleading with something. It almost looks like something is getting control of her and controling her hand, but she is fighting it and pleading still. She walks off to the left and looks braindead and not in control anymore. Elevator closes and opens a few times. I can see somekind of a mist inside the elevator. Something was in control of the elevator. To me this is a case of possession by something extremely powerful. Very scary and if the police cant find any good suspects with all the people in the hotel (witnesses) and video I will know it was a demon. Makes me want to go to church right now.

At :11 into video the elevator doors start to close, then stop! I can see no hand on either side, yet something stopped it. A schizophrenic person cant use their mind to stop an elevator door from closing.

Maybe Elisa Lam was actually a South Korean Citizen that came from North Korea!!! and was a North Korean spy and she was taken OUT by Wet Works US ASsasinations Division. She had just pressed it as the door was already about to open. These things aren't immediately responsive. Look at the picture, the door hold button is the bottom button she pressed immediately before stepping back.

As one who takes multiple elevators per day I can tell you that is not unusual at all for an elevator door to do when it has a mechanical problem. I've seen it many times.

Oooooh maybe I was in an elevator multiple times with an invisible caped individual. AND I DIDN'T KNOW IT!!! Glad I didn't end up in a water tank with people drinking and showering with my remains!!!!

Also the fact that she got scared shitless around the exact moment the door had ceased closing and had been held open. Is proof either that someone outside made a noise or held the elevator button.

I'd say the latter somewhat likely considering she was investigating the invisible light agency since she had interest in it from an article she retweeted or talked about online about the quantum microwave cloak technology company in vancouver. Than she randomly shows up to the cecil hotel in LA where this invisible light agency is that is probably co-operating int he development of the cloaking technology.

Most people use elevators daily. I live on the 18th floor of an apartment complex so I know elevators can act up from time to time. I have never seen an intelligent elevator though. While she was there it did not open, after she leaves it opens and closes several times. Also if you factor in the whole chain of events the elevator and her behavior something is very off about it all.

Whether she got scared shitless at any moment is open to interpretation. I don't think she killed herself, but I think you are wrong.

It simply opens and closes several times because once the door closes, it is going to all the floors she pressed. She pressed like 10 buttons and the door open button a million times. Because the elevator is acting shitty and the door stays open for a minute doesn't mean it is intelligent.

She seems to press multiple button - maybe ten times or so with both hands...then during and at the end presses the button at the bottom - a door open and close buttom is usually at the bottom.

Could she have been using a specific code that would take the elevator to a specific floor, like a penthouse unite or something of the like? Or was she in a psychophrenic moment and believed something of the sort? She repeats this a second time as if it is intentional.

Or could she purposely be stalling the elevator, because she is waiting for someone to come?

I still think it was a possession. Most advances in cloaking technology are happening at university levels. Its nothing special to make things invisible its just a matter of bending light. I think this kind of technology has been aound for awhile, and more than one country has it. To spy on old simple technology seems like a waster when if she wanted to learn about it she could have just went to mit or harvard or somewhere where they are doing experiments with bending light to make objects appear invisible. I just dont think this would be worth spying over. If you believe in evil spirits and such gotta consider possession. If you dont then I can see how you can blame it on her being crazy and/or on drugs and the whole elevator acting up was just coincidence.

Her facebook has her named spelled as the tb test does Lam Elisa. She only has one friend , smelter, and the pic of Smelter has a girl in the background, an Asian girl. What I find odd is the second pic of smelter the emphasizes the girl in the background who looks like it could be Elisa.

Door open button would not keep those doors open that long.
There is no hand needed to old the door open either. All elevators have modes they operate in those modes can be controlled by those who have keys or technicians depending on the elevator type.

I believe this is the mode the elevator was put in that prevented it from operating for Elisa. It was released from that mode after she leaves off to the left and proceeds to function properly immediately, as if certain she was not coming back .
