I'm sorry, But it is a well known fact that the early Church was infiltrated by Rome itself, when Constantine the emperor of Rome also took upon himself to become Pope of the New Roman Church.

He did so not because he received some vision as he claimed, but did so to consolidate his power and authority over Rome which was divided between Pagans and the new Christians

He saw like (Satan) saw the new church as a threat to to very existence of Rome, and although they (The Romans) tried to kill many of the early Christians, more and more roman citizens were being converted to Christianity.

Like Satan, Constantine simply thought if you can't beat them join them, the Roman Church then became a harlot before God when it began to embrace Paganistic Holidays and ideas, such as Christmas and Easter.

Forgiveness through their priests, I thought the Bible (God's Word) taught that Only Jesus Christ himself could atone and forgive ones sins, Not Mary, Not priests.

Later during the Inquisition the Roman Catholic Church was responsible for killing and torturing up to 50 million Christians who refused the Roman Church authority.

So I'm sorry to say old friend but this church is a false religion, I should know, as I was once Catholic myself until my eyes were opened.
